MacBook Air A1369 Keyboard Replacement.

This is very difficult keyboard to replace on this Apple MacBook Air A1369.

First remove the bottom cover with a Torx T4 screwdriver, unplug and remove batteries, then speakers, then DC jack, power connector board, then the fan, then motherboard.

Once you have access to the bottom of your keyboard carefully remove the black foil covering the keyboard. You have to be careful not to damage the connectors and LED’s for backlight.

Next, remove see through plastic cover.

Now, you can see the keyboard has about 30 or 40 very tiny screws all around the keyboard, remove them.

Finally pry open the keyboard. You will notice that on the inside of the keyboard are small rivets. You can not save those. After you reinstall the new keyboard and the rest of the laptop the keyboard holds fine without those.
